Ukraine's GDP rises by 9.3% in Q3

Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 9.3 percent year on year in the third quarter of 2023, the State Statistics Service said on Monday, reported Xinhua.
On a quarterly basis, the Ukrainian economy grew by 0.7 percent in the July-September period compared with the previous quarter, the statistical agency said in a report.
Ukraine's GDP increased by 19.5 percent year on year in the second quarter of 2023 after shrinking by 10.5 percent in the first quarter.
In October, Ukraine's central bank forecasted that the economy would rise by 4.9 percent this year.
The Ukrainian economy shrank by a record 29.1 percent in 2022 due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
