The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry (GUR) said Thursday it has destroyed two Russian vessels in the Black Sea near the coast of Crimea, reported Xinhua.

The vessels, preliminarily identified as high-speed boats KS-701 Tunets, were hit by the Magura V5 combat sea drones, the GUR said in a Telegram post.

The operation was conducted by the GUR's Group 13 unit of maritime drone operators in Vuzka Bay on Crimea's western coast.

According to the GUR, since the beginning of this year, Group 13 has sunk four Russian vessels in the Black Sea, namely guided-missile ship Ivanovets, landing ship Caesar Kunikov, patrol vessel Sergey Kotov, and high-speed patrol vessel Mangust.
