The Spanish authorities recovered the bodies of four immigrants on the Spanish coast on Saturday, local media reported on Sunday.
Spanish national TV network RTVE explained that two bodies were discovered inside a four-meter long inflatable dinghy which reached the Chilches beach close to the town of Velez-Malaga in Andalusia, southern Spain.
A further body was recovered close to the Canos de Meca beach in Cadiz, southwest Spain, while the body of a sub-Saharan African was found floating off the coast of the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.
The forth body which was found close to the Canos de Meca beach is thought to be one of the 14 people who went missing after a dinghy carrying 40 migrants hit rocks 150 meters from the shore on November 6.
22 of those migrants were able to reach the beach, with fours deaths confirmed on the same day.
Earlier this week, three further bodies were recovered on Wednesday and Thursday and four more on Friday, but some migrants still remain to be found.
The Andalusian regional authority on Saturday issued a statement in which it "vehemently" stressed the need for "solutions" to prevent further tragedies and asking for "greater collaboration" with European institutions.
On Nov. 5, the Spanish Ministry for the Interior and the International Organization for Migration published figures which showed that an estimated 564 people lost their lives when attempting to cross from North Africa to Spain during the first 10 months of 2018.
