British Prime Minister Theresa May and her government are trying to find out ways to bring the EU withdrawal deal back to the parliament for the fourth attempt despite three previous defeats, international media reported on Saturday.
British lawmakers on Friday voted to reject Theresa May's Brexit deal, which has already been rejected twice in Parliament since January. MPs voted 286 to 344 to turn down the Withdrawal Agreement and delay Brexit to May 22.
The PM said the UK would need "an alternative way forward" after her plan was defeated by 58 votes on Friday, reported British Broadcasting Corporation.
MPs from all parties will test support for other options during a second round of "indicative votes" on Monday, said the BBC report.
Cable News Network reported that downing Street refused to comment on the prospects of a fourth vote when contacted by CNN, but Conservative Party Chairman Brandon Lewis did not rule out the possibility in an interview on BBC Radio 4's Today program on Saturday.
Lewis said MPs must consider possible next steps given that the updated Brexit deadline of April 12 is approaching, said the CNN report.
"Parliament will continue this process on Monday and we need to look at all the options," the report added, quoting Lewis as saying.
