Finns urged to avoid travelling to China´s Hubei province

The government on Friday urged the country people to avoid any kind of traveling to Hubei province in China to avoid risk of the coronavirus infection.
Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province from where the coronavirus outbreak is believed to start.
The Ministry of Foreign Affair in a travel alert also urged the people to avoid any unnecessary travel to China. It also advised the people to carefully consider any travel to the eastern coastal province of Zhejiang.
Earlier, on January 27, the government urged the country people to avoid traveling to the coronavirus hit regions in China.
The National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) on February 5 updated its guidelines for people arriving in Finland from the coronavirus epidemic areas.
THL in an official press release said, the increase in the number of cases in other provinces of China has been taken into account in THL’s new guidelines.
National flag carrier Finnair also has decided to cancel all its flights to mainland China from February 6 and February 29.
It also canceled flights to Guangzhou from February 5 to March 29.
