The number of coronavirus infection cases raised to 450 in Finland as 50 more cases were diagnosed at different parts of the country on Friday, said the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

Expert, however, feared that the number of total infected people with coronavirus seemed to be much higher in Finland than the official figure counted by the authority.

All the suspected cases are not being tested anymore, so the real number of infections is feared to be much higher. Only the seriously ill and risk group people such as social and healthcare workers are being tested in Finland now.

Meanwhile, the government issued a temporary ban on Estonians traveling to Finland to work and the ban will be effective from Sunday midnight.

Interior minister Maria Ohisalo at a press conference said that Estonian workers were very important to Finland and called on as many of the workers as possible to stay in the country, reported National broadcaster Yle.

Ohisalo said that the travel ban was necessary to slow down the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
