Coronavirus death toll in Finland rises to 186

The coronavirus death toll in Finland has increased to 186 as nine more people died in the Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS) in the last 24 hours, said the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) on Saturday.
Till Saturday, a total of 153 people had died in the Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS), 21 in the Pohjois-Savo Hospital District (KYS), six in the Turku Hospital District (TYKS), three in the Tampere-Pirkanmaa (TAYS) Hospital District, and three in the Pohjois-Pohjanmaa (OYS) Hospital District, said the THL.
The identities of the deceased, however, could not be known as the THL did not divulge any details in this regard.
Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus infection cases in the country has increased to 4475 as 80 more cases had been diagnosed in the last 24 hours till Saturday afternoon.
Presently, 190 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals, including 60 in intensive care units.
Currently, laboratories are testing about 5,000 samples a day and their testing capacity is being increased gradually.
