Espoo pilots online mother-child clinic

The City of Espoo is testing an open online maternity and child health clinic, said an official press release on Wednesday.

People will able to book an appointment at the open online clinic, if they wish to discuss issues related to maternity and childcare services.

The online services include providing information, if the patient or spouse has question about pregnancy, childbirth or baby care, breastfeeding, child’s eating habits, seeking support in dealing with a toddler’s temper tantrums, sleeping problem, child’s development, etc.

The new service will allow the people to contact a public health nurse through a video call and discuss anything in details.
