17 more deaths,832 new coronavirus infections diagnosed in 3 days

The coronavirus death toll in Finland increased to 506 as 17 more patients died at different hospitals in the country in the last three days since Friday afternoon, said the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) on Monday.
Out of the deaths, five were reported in the Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS), six in the Pohjois-Savo Hospital District (KYS), two in the Turku Hospital District (TYKS), three in the Tampere-Pirkanmaa (TAYS) Hospital District and one in the Pohjois-Pohjanmaa Hospital District (OYS).
Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 33,414 as 832 more cases were diagnosed in the last three days.
Out of the new cases, 271 infections were diagnosed on Saturday, 309 on Sunday, and 252 on Monday, said the THL.
So far a total of 357 people have died in the Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS), 59 in the Pohjois-Savo Hospital District (KYS), 33 in the Turku Hospital District (TYKS), 30 in the Tampere-Pirkanmaa (TAYS) Hospital District and 27 in the Pohjois-Pohjanmaa Hospital District (OYS).
Until Monday, 22, 500 or more than 70% coronavirus-infected patients in Finland had recovered.
A total of 281 coronavirus patients, including 33 in intensive care units (ICUs), are now undergoing treatment at different hospitals.
According to the THL report, in relation to Finland’s total population (5,543,233), the prevalence of COVID-19 cases is 603 per 100,000 people.
Currently, laboratories in the country have the testing capacity of about 26,000 samples a day.
