Turku students to get coronavirus vaccination without appointment

The City of Turku has made coronavirus vaccines available for the students, who came from other localities and the youth residents of age group 16-29 without appointment from 4 August to 13 August, said a press release of the city.
Vaccinations are available for the students and the youth residents as well, who are in need of their first dose of vaccination.
The vaccinations will be administrated on 4 august from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on 6 August from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on 14 August from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm at the Student Health Care at Hämeenkatu and on 11 August and 12 August from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 13 August from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Aninkainen, Juhannuskukkula and Peltola school buildings.
Vaccinations administered in the premises of Turku Vocational Institute are available also to people, who do not study in the institute.
Second doses of the vaccine will likely be given in late October.
The vaccine used in the pop-up events is BioNTech-Pfizer.
