About 77 percent of Finnish people believed that they themselves had dealt with the coronavirus pandemic in a well manner, according to a survey report published by the Foundation for Municipal Development (Kaks) on Saturday.

Respondents of the survey, however, criticized the government agencies saying that the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and the regional administrative agencies did not play their role properly to manage the situation, said Kaks referring to the survey in a press release.

Majority of the respondents viewed that their own municipality and the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) handled that pandemic properly.

About half the respondents opined that the government was successful to deal the situation.

The survey conducted by Kantar TNS from June 3 to Jun 9 interviewed more than a thousand people from 18 to 79 years.
