60+, risk group get 4th COVID vaccine dose without appointment

People age 60 or older and those belonging to at-risk groups 1 and 2 can now receive a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment at vaccination points in Helsinki, said the City of Helsinki in a press release on Wednesday.
The fourth dose can be administered when at least three months have passed since the third dose.
The vaccination without appointment started from Wednesday and the vaccination points, the locations and opening hours will be found at the city´s website.
People can get the vaccine by showing identity card or Kela card.
People also can book an appointment for a third dose at online or making phone call.
Currently, the fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will not be administered if the person has had three doses of the vaccine and coronavirus disease at least six weeks apart.
Having had COVID-19 is equivalent to one vaccine dose.
