Glitch to access HUS laboratory referrals fixed

The Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS) has fixed the issue, which created problem to access to several thousands of laboratory referrals from the City of Helsinki, said the HUS in a press release on Friday.
Service in HUS laboratories located in Helsinki will return to normal. Some queues and long waiting times may occur for a couple of days. Laboratory customers are asked to primarily book an appointment.
A technical problem that occurred when deleting old referrals from the information.
The issue concerns about 5,000–10,000 referrals that have been made before August 29.
The problem was fixed on Wednesday evening and all laboratory referrals for residents of Helsinki are now available as usual.
