The Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS) sent incorrect appointment times in invitations to about 1900 people for cervical cancer screening due to a system error at the end of February, said HUS in a press release on Monday.

In the screening invitations the time allocated for the appointment is two hours earlier than the real schedule.

The invitations in question are for appointments between March 25 and March 27.

The authority will contact the people, who have received the incorrect invitations personally.

Those, who received the invitations to cervical cancer screening between March 25 and March 27, are asked to check their appointment details at www.huslab.fi/booking where they can find the reservation using the key and PIN code sent in the invitation letter.

People may also contact laboratory customer service by phone at (09) 471 86800 on weekdays from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm.
