Negotiation to form alliance govt likely on Tuesday

The chair of Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democratic Party of Finland-SDP) Antti Rinne on Sunday held discussions with different political parties with the view to form a coalition government.
He also believes that negotiations in this regard will be clear on Tuesday evening, reported local media.
On Sunday afternoon Rinne held specific discussions with representatives of Suomen Kristillisdemokraati (Christian Democrats), Perussuomalaiset (Finns Party) and Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party of Finland).
Rinne is scheduled to meet with other parties on Monday. He will hold the first meeting with the Vihreä liitto (Green League), followed by Vasemmistoliitto (Left Alliance), Suomen ruotsalainen kansanpuolue (Swedish People's Party of Finland-RKP) and Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party). An hour has been reserved for each meeting.
Sari Essayah, the chair of Christian Democrats and Päivi Räsänen, the chair of Christian Democrats parliamentary group were the first to meet Rinne during Sunday's discussions.
SDP emerged victorious in the April's parliamentary elections having secured 40 seats.
