The body of a Finnish man was discovered at the Port of Tallinn on Monday morning, reported the national broadcaster Yle quoting Estonian news sources Postimees and Delfi.
TallinkSilja shipping company confirmed to Yle that the man, who was later found dead at the port, had travelled aboard Silja Europa cruise ship.
The cruise ship docked at the Tallinn Port at 10 pm Sunday.
“His body was found this morning at Port of Tallinn . I am waiting for more information,” said TallinkSilja Communications Director Marika Nöjd.
The body was discovered in Terminal D water by Tallink’s staff at around 6:30 am.
The Estonian police went through the ship’s surveillance camera to establish how the man jumped from the ship. The body depicted no signs of violence.
