Boy drowns in Pori Lake Lavijärvi

A minor boy was drowned in the Lake Lavijärvi in Pori on Friday afternoon, national broadcaster Yle reported.

The boy of seven years old was drowned when he was swimming at the Lake with his family.

The Southwest Finland Police said that the incident took place in front of several other swimmers in the lake.

The law enforcers failed to disclose anymore information in this regard.

Lake Lavijärvi is situated in what used to be the municipality of Lavia, which merged with the city of Pori in 2015.
