A joint exercise by safety authorities will be held at Rovaniemi Airport on Wednesday, said a Finavia press release.

The exercise will run throughout the morning, and includes the Rovaniemi Airport rescue workers, the Lapland Air Command, the Finnish Red Cross, Lapland Hospital District paramedics, employees of the ground handling companies, and the Lapland rescue service.

The exercise will have no effect on air traffic, said the press release, adding that flights will run according to normal timetables.
