Arrests made in Rauma school incident

The police have begun pre-trial investigation into the incident which happened at the Rauma Lyceum on Tuesday morning, reported Finnish language daily Turun Sanomat.
Pre-trial investigation suggests that the crimes being investigated are unlawful threat, disturbance of public peace and being in possession of an object which may cause harm.
The persons held by the police are suspected of being in the school without permission. One of them is suspected of being in possession of a sharp edged weapon which led to the threatening situation.
The police were notified about the presence of men who were moving around the school corridor at around 10 am. The police were also notified about the weapon. The situation was considered to pose threat as students remained in classes behind locked doors.
The police dispatched patrol units following the incidents. The suspects managed to escape, however, the police found them in a nearby street and arrested them.According to the report, there were a total of four men who were sighted at the school.
The incident was however reported not to have posed concrete danger to anyone.
