3 Finns charged for terrorist plans

Three Finnish citizens have been charged for allegedly having prepared a terrorist crime, the state prosecution office announced on Wednesday.
One of them is also accused of giving training for terrorist crimes and another for recruitment of people for terrorist purposes.
The three men traveled from Finland to Syria in 2013 and allegedly participated in terrorism. Charges concern both activity in Finland and in Syria.
The men were arrested in Finland in 2013. Upon the completion of the police investigation, the men were released awaiting trial.
To finance their belligerent plans, the men established an aid association to give them cover. The financial crimes will be dealt with separately. The men have denied all the charges.
