Burglaries reported in Oulu: police

A number of burglaries have been reported in Oulu of which the latest took place over the weekend, said the Oulu police.
The burglars broke into detached houses along Kaivopurontie and Kelotie on Friday evening and Saturday morning, reported Finnish language daily, Kaleva.
The police suspects that foreign persons are behind the burglaries, and that they may have been roaming using a foreign registered vehicle.
The police have appealed for witnesses and sighting of a foreign registered vehicle.
The police have also called for vigilance elsewhere in the city especially in small-house areas.
