Finland rises soldiers in NATO’s KFOR operation in Kosovo

The President and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy on Friday agreed that Finland increases its participation in NATO’s KFOR operation in Kosovo to around 70 soldiers.
The committee at a meeting also discussed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and Finland’s NATO membership process, said a government press release
The committee also discussed the security situation in Europe and the progress of Finland’s NATO membership process.
So far, 24 countries out of total 30 ratified the NATO accession protocols for Finland and Sweden.
The countries are USA, Italy, Canada, Estonia, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, United Kingdom, Albania, Poland, Latvia, Slovenia, Croatia, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, Lithuania, Montenegro, Belgium, North Macedonia, France and Czech Republic.
