Missing elderly man found dead in Kittilä

An elderly man, who went missing in Kittilä on Friday was found dead on Sunday, police said in a press release.
The police recovered the body of the 89-years old man named Valte Siivola from the locality at about 12:00 O’clock.
Police, rescue service personnel and number of volunteers conducted the search to find out Siivola after he went missing from Kittilä. He was seen last time on Friday noon at Lanssitie area.
The Police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind the death.
At the preliminary stage of the investigation, members of the law enforcing agency did not suspect any crime link to the death.
