Man burnt to death as house gutted at Loimaa

A man was burnt to death when a fire broke out in a wooden detached house at Loimaa, a municipality in Western Finland region on Saturday evening, police said in a press release on Sunday.

Responding to an alarm Rescue Services personnel and police rushed to the spot but the house was burnt into ashes by this time.

A man, resident of the house died in the fire and rescue service people recovered his body from the debris.

The police, however, did not divulge the identity of the deceased.

The reason behind the fire could not be known and police and rescue service people are investigating into the incident to find out the origin of the fire.
