Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto on Tuesday held a teleconference with his Estonian and Polish counterparts Urmas Reinsalu and Zbigniew Rau respectively and discussed various issues including finding way to use Russia’s frozen assets to aid Ukraine and oil price cap.
” Spoke with Rau Zbigniew and Haavisto today (Tuesday) about continued support to #Ukraine including finding a way to use Russia’s frozen assets to aid ????Ukraine. We also must lower the oil️ #PriceCap to stop financing Russia’s war & move on with ensuring accountability on aggression crimes in Ukraine,” Urmas Reinsalu wrote in his twitter after the teleconference.
The Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in a twitter post said that Haavisto held a teleconference with Reinsalu.
“Very good phone discussion today with my Estonian colleague Urmas Reinsalu. Always useful to exchange views on current foreign and security policy issues with close partners,” said the Foreign Ministry twitter post, quoting Haavisto as saying.
The twitter post, however, did not mention about the participation of the Polish Foreign Minister in the teleconference.
