Suffocation was not the cause of death of the woman, who died when security guards were arresting her inside the Iso Omena shopping centre in Espoo on January 7, police said on Wednesday referring to the forensic autopsy report.
The police, however, will continue the investigation into the case as murder but did not disclose the cause of the death of the 35 years old woman for the interest of the investigation.
Meanwhile, the police also identified the person who asked the security guards to rush to the spot and will interrogate the person within next few days, said police in a press release.
The police also found more information about the incident from CCTV footage of the market where it was seen that two security guards confronted the woman when she was walking at the corridor of the shopping centre.
The guards might have been informed that the woman was suspected of harassing another customer, police said.
The guards stopped the woman and after a short conversation, they tried to remove her from the shopping centre. At certain stage the security guards applied force on her.
The police reiterated that the victim did not buy anything from any store and no store in the shopping centre has any link to the incident.
The police are investigating into the death as suspected murder.
