1 killed in car-truck collision at Rautjärvi

One person was killed in a road accident at Rautjärvi, a municipality in Southern Finland on Sunday afternoon, police said in a press release.
The accident took place at about 4:00 pm when a truck knocked down a private car on Karjalantie road at the locality.
Driver, the only person onboard the car died on the spot in the accident.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The police, however, did not divulge detail about the accident and the identity of the deceased.
The Accident Investigation Board and Police are investigating into the incident to find out the circumstances surrounding the accident.
