11 killed in road mishaps in January

A total of 11 persons were killed and 203 others injured in 162 road accidents in the country in January, according to Statistics Finland.
The number of deceased was one higher and the number of injured people was 42 lower than in January 2022.
Out of the dead, four were men and seven were women.
Of the persons who were killed, eight travelled by passenger car. Killed pedestrians numbered two and cyclists one.
