President, First Lady to attend UK king´s coronation

President Sauli Niinistö and First Lady Jenni Haukio will attend the coronation of the King of the United Kingdom Charles III scheduled to be held on Saturday, said the President Office in a press release on Thursday.
The Presidential couple will attend a reception hosted by King Charles III on Friday.
The coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms is to take place at Westminster Abbey.
Charles acceded to the throne on 8 September 2022, upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II.
