FM discusses bilateral ties, Ukraine with FMs of Norway, Denmark

Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen on Friday held separate meetings with her counterparts in Denmark and Norway and discussed various issues including bilateral ties and Ukraine situation.
Valtonen made official visits to Oslo and Copenhagen and held meetings with Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen respectively, according to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
“Magnificent discussions with my Danish colleague Lars Løkke in beautiful Copenhagen. We continue to work closely together both bilaterally and in the international for a,” Valtonen wrote in her twitter after the meeting with the Danish Foreign Minister.
” With Finland in NATO, there is momentum for even stronger Nordic cooperation. Pleased to welcome new Finnish FM Elina Valtonen to Denmark & confirm our strong bilateral relations. Together we will strengthen NATO & continue our steadfast support for Ukraine," the Danish Foreign Ministry wrote in a twitter post, quoting Rasmussen as saying.
Earlier on the day, the Finnish Foreign Minister held a meeting with her Norwegian counterpart Anniken Huitfeldt in Oslo.
“An excellent meeting with my Norwegian colleague Anniken Huitfeldt in Oslo. Many thanks for the warm reception! The ties between Finland and Norway are very strong. Good discussions on Ukraine, our bilateral and Nordic agenda as well as current NATO issues,” Valtonen wrote in another twitter post after the meeting.
