Crime link suspected to woman´s death after falling from building in Tampere

Police suspected crime link to the death of a person after falling from an apartment building in Tampere early Sunday, said police in a press release on Tuesday.

Police also arrested a man in this connection on charge of suspected murder.

Police, however, did not divulge the identities of the victim and the suspect. The police even did not describe detail about the incident at the stage of preliminary investigation.

But local media reported that the victim, a woman died after falling from the balcony of an apartment building at Itsenäisyydenkatu area in Tampere.

A 38-year-old man having long criminal record was arrested on charge of suspected murder, reported national broadcaster Yle.
