Parliament Building to remain open for visitors on Sept 4

The Parliament of Finland will organise an Open House in the Parliament Building (Eduskuntatalo) on September 4 from 1:00 p.m. to 6.15 p.m.
Visitors may arrive at the entrance, which is located to the right of the main entrance, said the parliament in a press release on Wednesday.
People can get acquainted with the Parliament Building at their own pace. Parliamentary personnel will guide visitors through the Parliament Building.
MPs are also invited to meet citizens in the Hall of State. Refreshments will be served in the Parliament Cafeteria.
Guests are invited to see, for example, the Plenary Hall, the Hall of State, the Speaker's Council Meeting Room, Government Meeting Rooms, the Speaker's Office as well as the paternoster lift.
Guests will exit the Parliament Building through the main doors via the stairs.
There will be a security check at the entrance. People are urged to leave unnecessary items at home and keep water bottles, large bags, backpacks in storage at the security check.
Any strollers should be left at the public entrance.
