1 killed after falling from building in Vaasa

One person was killed after falling from a building in Vaasa, a city on the west coast of Finland on Tuesday morning, police said in a press release.

The accident took place at about 8:30 am at Koulukatu area in the locality.

Responding to an alarm police and rescue services people rushed to the spot and found the person dead.

Police, however, did not divulge the identity of the deceased.

Police are investigating into the case to find out the reason behind the death.

They did not suspect any link of crime to the incident.
