Youth drowns in Vaasa

A young man was drowned in a beach in Vaasa, a city on the west coast of Finland late Friday night, police said on Saturday.

Responding to an alarm, the rescue service people and police rushed to the spot and recovered the body at about 10:00 pm.

The identity of the deceased, however, could not be known immediately but police said that the victim was a young man wearing dark clothes.

The police are investigating into the incident to find out detail about the incident and the identity of the young man.
