Several assaults reported in Kuopio

A number of assault incidents were reported to the police in Kuopio on Saturday night and early Sunday morning, reported the Finnish language daily Kaleva.
A man was injured in the face after being battered by another man in a downtown restaurant.
In another incident, a middle-aged woman was assaulted by her partner on Sunday morning. The victim suffered a facial wound.
Two men in their twenties are also suspected to have been victims of maltreatment at a private residence on Sunday morning.
At the Siilinjärvi service station, a 20-year-old man is suspected of hitting a 23-year-old man in the face with his fists several times.
