7 killed in road mishaps in November

seven people were killed and 276 others injured in 228 road accidents in Finland in November, according to Statistics Finland.
The number of deceased was 14 lower and the number of injured people was 10 higher compared to the numbers in November 2022.
Of the persons who were killed, six travelled by passenger car and one by motorcycle.
No pedestrian or cyclist, however, were killed in November.
Among the deceased five were men and two were women.
Meanwhile, a total of 158 people were killed and 3,321 others injured in 2,694 road accidents in the country in January-November periods.
The number of persons killed was 21 lower and that of persons injured 149 lower than in the corresponding period of 2022.
Of the persons who were killed, 80 travelled by passenger car, 12 by van, one by moped, 20 by motorcycle and one by lorry.
Pedestrians killed numbered 19 and cyclists 15. In addition, 10 other road users were killed.
