1 killed in snowmobile accident at Rovaniemi safari

One person was killed in a snowmobile accident at a safari in Rovaniemi, a municipality in Lapland on Tuesday, police said in a press release on Wednesday.
The accident took place at about 12:00 O’clock when the person was driving the snowmobile at the safari area.
At certain stage the driver lost control and the snowmobile collided with a tree resulting death of the driver on the spot.
The Police, however, did not divulge the identity of the deceased and the name of the safari company.
The police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind the accident.
