Burglary at Oulu house, 2 held

Burglars took away valuables and goods from a house at Korvenkylä area in Oulu, a municipality in North Ostrobothnia region on Tuesday, police said in a press release.

The incident took place in the morning when the alleged burglars entered into the detached house after breaking the door-lock in absence of the owner of the house. They took huge valuables and goods and left the scene.

Responding to an alarm, police rushed to the spot and conducted extensive search at the locality.

They later raided the residence of a suspect and recovered the stolen goods from there.

Police also arrested two residents of the house in connection with the incident.

Police, however, did not divulge the detail identity of the alleged burglars.

The police are investigating into the case as an aggravated theft.
