Finland sends €9m more aid to Ukraine

Finland on Tuesday granted nine million euros to send humanitarian aid to Ukraine, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio said.

“Finland supports Ukraine also with humanitarian aid. We have today allocated in total 9 million euros to Ukraine via OCHA, WFP and ICRC from our budget,” the minister wrote in his social media platform X.

Earlier this month, Finland sent another package of defence material worth about EUR 190 million to assist Ukraine.

Finland's 22 defence materiel packages now have a total compensation value of EUR 1.8 billion.

Previously, Finland also sent rescue vehicles, ambulances, school buses, maternity boxes and different supports to Ukraine since Russia´s invasion.
