Another murder in Oulu within a span of week

One person was killed at Isko in Oulu, a municipality in North Ostrobothnia region on Friday, police said in a press release.

Police said that the alleged murder took place in the morning and the victim and suspect were known to each other.

Responding to an alarm, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased.

They also arrested the suspect immediately after the incident.

Police, however, did not divulge the identities of the victim and the suspect and their relation.

Police did not disclose the motive of the killing at the initial stage of the investigation.

The investigation is going on and police are interrogating the suspect to find out the reason behind the murder.

With this murder, two people were killed in Oulu with in a span of one week.

Earlier on February 16, one person was killed inside an apartment building in Oulu.
