Exiled Russian oligarch visits Finland, meets Speaker

Exiled Russian oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky on Sunday took part in a demonstration in Helsinki marking the second anniversary of Russia´s invasion of Ukraine.

Khodorkovsky also held meetings with leaders of different political parties including the Speaker of the Parliament, Jussi Halla-aho during his visit.

“On Sunday, I had the pleasure to meet for the first time Mikhail Khodorkovski and exchange views with him on future perspectives for Russia,” Halla-aho wrote in a post in his social media X on Sunday afternoon.

Khodorkovsky, who has been living in exile since 2013, is one of the critics of Russian president Vladimir Putin.
