Man dies after arrest by police in Tuusula

A man died after he had been arrested by police at Hyrylä area in Tuusula, a municipality in Uusimaa region on Tuesday afternoon, police said in a press release.
The incident took place at about 4:00 pm when police arrested him from a shop and were taking to the police vehicle from the spot.
Police said that the man was creating disturbance at the shop and entered into the staff premises despite resistance by the security guards.
Responding to an alarm, a patrol of East Uusimaa police rushed to the spot and arrested him.
When the members of the law enforcing agency were taking him to the police vehicle, at certain stage he became unconscious and died despite resuscitation move.
Police, however, did not divulged detail about the incident of disturbance and the identity of the deceased.
The investigation into the death after arrest by East Uusimaa police has been transferred to the Helsinki Police department.
The Police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind the death and will submit the report to the prosecutor.
