Finland condemns terror attack in Moscow, condoles at victims

President Alexander Stubb and Prime Minister Petteri Orpo on Saturday condemned the Friday's terrorist attack in Moscow and expressed condolences at the deaths of people in the attack.

“The news from Moscow are shocking. Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones. ISIS has claimed responsibility. Finland condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” Stubb wrote in a post in social media platform X, formerly known as twitter in the morning.

Terming the attack as shocking, Prime Minister Petteri Orpo also condemned the terrorist act.

"We condemn all activities of terrorism wherever they take place, and I want to express my condolences to the relatives of the victims,” Orpo told the national broadcaster Yle in its Ykkösaamu (Morning Breakfast) programme on Saturday.

The deadly shooting occurred at a concert hall in suburban Moscow on Friday killed at least 133 people and injured over 100.
