Elderly man killed in road mishap in Raasepori

An elderly person was killed in a road accident in Raasepori, a municipality on the south coast in western part of Uusimaa region on Sunday, police said.
The accident took place when a private car skidded off the road number 25 at Meltola area in the morning.
Driver of the car, a 61-year-old man was killed in the accident.
The police, however, did not divulge details about the accident and the identity of the deceased.
The reason behind the accident could not be known but police said that the accident might have been taken place due to overspending.
Police and the Accident Investigation Board are investigating into the accident to find out the reason behind it.
