Couple die in Pedersöre car mishap

A couple died in a car accident on Thursday in Pedersöre, the local media reported.
According to the police, a jeep the couple were riding in drove off the road, ran into a ditch and overturned. The police suspect the accident took place several hours before it was discovered.
It was unclear what caused the car to run into the ditch. The road at the scene of the accident is unploughed and very narrow.
The rescue services and the police received the alarm about the accident at 6:00 am Thursday.
The couple were residents of Pännäinen. The police are continuing with the investigation.
