3 stabbed in Turku, suspect held

Three people were injured when miscreant attacked them with a sharp knife at Perno area in Turku on Friday evening, police said in a press release.

The incident took place in front of a shop at Hyrköistentie but police did not disclose detail about the incident.

Responding to an emergency alarm, police and rescue service people rushed to the spot and found that three people sustained knife injuries.

The injured people were taken to hospital immediately and police stated their condition as critical.

Police also arrested one suspect from the spot.

Police, however, did not divulge identities of the attackers and the victims. The reason behind the attack could not be known.

The Police are investigating into the incident to find out details in this regard.
