Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command and Senop Oy on Thursday signed a letter of intent for the further development of domestic dark-sight devices, said Defence Forces in a press release.

The letter of intent was signed by Major General Jari Mikkonen, Chief of Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command, and Aki Korhonen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Senop Oy.

The letter of intent is valid until February 29, 2028.

According to the letter of intent, the development work will focus on three products: night vision goggles, tactical thermal binoculars and a multipurpose fire control system for support weapons and anti-tank weapon systems.

The night vision goggles feature an updated ergonomic solution and a helmet mounting adapter.

The thermal binoculars use software solutions developed for the Finnish Defence Forces, while the multipurpose fire control system is based on smart sight technology.
