25.4% cast votes in advance in Finland in European poll

A total of 1092511 Finnish people cast votes in advance in Finland in the European parliamentary elections, which is 25.4 % percent of the total voters living in the country, according to the Statistics of the Ministry of Justice.
The advance voting in the European Parliament was held in Finland from May 29 to June 4.
The election will be held on June 9.
Out of the total voters, who cast votes in advance, 602009 were women and 490502 were men.
In Finland, the highest turnout was reported 32.8 percent in Helsinki during the advance ballot while the lowest cast was reported 18.9 percent in Åland.
