2 including schoolgirl killed in Saarijärvi road mishap, 3 injured

Two persons including a school-age girl were killed and three other injured in a road accident in Saarijärvi, a municipality in Central Finland on Saturday morning, police said.
The accident took place at about 5:40 am when a private car coming from Saarijärvi to Karstula direction skidded off the road at Kokkolantie and fell into a roadside ditch.
A primary schoolgirl was run over and killed on the spot in the accident.
There were four people including the driver in the car and one of the passengers was also killed on the spot while the rest three were injured.
The injured people were sent to hospital for treatment.
The police, however, did not divulge detail identities of the deceased and the injured people but said that all of the victims hailed from Jyväskylä.
Police and the Accident Investigation Board are investigating into the accident to find out the reason behind the accident.
