Problem in banking system likely to delay Kela benefit payment

The national social insurance institution-Kela on Monday said that there might be delay to reach the benefit payments to bank account of the recipients due to problems in the transfer systems of some banks.

Although Kela already made the payments, some banks are facing problems to transfer the money, Kela said in a post on its social media platform X.

“Kela benefit payments may be delayed. The payments have been sent from Kela, but some banks seem to have problems transferring benefits to customers' accounts. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers by the disruption of the banks,” Kela wrote in the post.
